PRAY: Lord God,
You loved this world so much,
That you gave your one and only Son,
That we might be called your children too.
Lord, help us to live in the gladness and grace
Of Easter Sunday, everyday.
Let us have hearts of thankfulness
For your sacrifice.
Let us have eyes that look upon
Your grace and rejoice in our salvation.
Help us to walk in that mighty grace
And tell your good news to the world.
All for your glory do we pray, Lord,
Amen.

Praying Lent: Day 40

Day 40 - Change Your Life

If you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9

Accept Jesus Christ as your Savior and let your life be changed. You will feel confident knowing you can handle anything life brings. Make your own sincere commitment now and feel the heavenly power of God's grace.

Strengthen Your Faith This Easter - Day 46 - Holy Saturday

DAY 46: HOLY SATURDAY

MEDITATE: Matthew 17:1-6, Lamentations 3:1-9, Lamentations 3:19-24

PRAY: Lord God,
On the Sabbath,
Jesus rested.
He was in the grave.
He had finished his work.
To most people’s eyes,
It looked as if it were all over.
He was dead and buried.
But only as a seed dies when it is planted in the earth,
Not to decay, but to spring to new life.
Teach us to take refuge in you when we are afraid
Teach us that death is not our end
Teach us to hope always in you
And in the resurrection, the making of all things
New.
Through Jesus Christ our Lord,
Amen.

Lenten Devotional - Saturday, April 3

Saturday, April 3

“We know that our old self was crucified with Him, so that our sinful body might be done away with, that we might no longer be in slavery to sin.” Romans 6:6

Key thought:
During this Lenten season, we have been diligently contemplating our human fallibility. Jesus, too, knows of our sinfulness, yet loves us so much that He was willing to die in order to free us from it forever. What a selfless gift!

Suggested practice:
Make some time to say this prayer today:

Agnus Dei #2
O my Lord Jesus Christ, the true Lamb who takest away the sins of the world; by Thy mercy, which is infinite, pardon my iniquities, and by Thy sacred Passion, preserve me this day from all sin and evil. I carry about me this holy Agnus Dei in Thy honour, as a preservative against my own weakness, and as an incentive to the practice of that meekness, humility, and innocence which Thou hast taught us. I offer myself up to Thee as an entire oblation, and in memory of that sacrifice of love which Thou didst offer for me on the Cross, and in satisfaction for my sins. Accept this oblation, I beseech Thee, O my God, and may it be acceptable to Thee in the odour of sweetness. Amen.

Praying Lent: Day 39

Day 39 - When Times Are Dark, Believe

Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” Mark 9:23

When you are downcast and discouraged, where do you turn? Rely on your own inner strength placed there by God Himself. What is this strength? The ability to believe. Believe God loves you and is present in every aspect of your life. Think positively and know in your heart all things are possible.

Lenten Devotional - Friday, April 2 – Good Friday

Friday, April 2 – Good Friday

“Therefore when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And He bowed His head and gave up His spirit.” John 19:30

Key thought:
Jesus is aware that in order for the Scripture to be fulfilled, He must die—and He did so willingly.

Suggested practice:
Today, reflect on the many sacrifices that Jesus made for you; in giving His very life for your sins, He demonstrated the highest form of love.
