Jonah's Prayer
"I called out to the Lord in my distress, and He answered me." Jonah 2:2
Jonah turned away from God only to find Himself trapped in the belly of a whale and begging for God’s help. Thankfully, the Almighty always grants another chance. No matter how many times you’ve turned away from Him, He will welcome you back with open arms. His unconditional love is the standard we need to strive for, a model for reaching out to others with understanding and forgiveness.
Lord, heal me of resentment. Help me release my grudges and forgive others with the same mercy and grace as You forgive me.
