The Model Prayer
“Pray like this: Our Father who is in heaven, uphold the holiness of Your name. Bring in Your kingdom so that Your will is done on earth as it’s done in heaven.” Matthew 6:9-10
Jesus’ words teach us how to grow closer to our Heavenly Father. He gave us this prayer as a model to praise, petition and honor God. Use these words that came from Jesus’ own lips and pray: constantly, specifically and expectantly to experience heaven on earth.
Loving Creator, my comfort, joy and peace all come from You. Thank You for the many ways You show me how to pray—and for being with me every step of the way!
