Day 21 - Giving It Up for Love
Christ Jesus, who, though He was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. Philippians 2:5-7
It is difficult for us to understand why Christ, omnipotent and eternal, became a small and vulnerable newborn baby. Perhaps our finite, ambitious minds can never really grasp the concept of the incarnation. But we can accept it—on the basis of love. A love so deep and complete that it has no room for self.
