Key thought:
We place so much emphasis on beauty and perfection in today’s world, demanding it both of people and of objects. This throwaway culture leads to feelings of unworthiness, inadequacy and depression, and contributes to the degradation of the beautiful world God created for us.
Suggested practice:
Jesus was once cast aside, yet rose in triumphant glory. How can you set aside your anxieties, and find peace in your own uniqueness? If you’re not sure, consider keeping a journal of affirmation.
